Sweepstakes Disclosure
The EdvestinU® Review Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is being sponsored by Granite Edvance Corporation at 3 Barrell Court, Concord, NH 03301.
NO OBLIGATION. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A POSITIVE REVIEW DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCE OF WINNING. This Sweepstakes and its terms are void where prohibited by Federal or State law.
Eligibility: This sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at time of entry. Since the intent of this sweepstakes is to encourage the submission of honest reviews from recent customers, the eligible person entering the sweepstakes must also be the borrower or cosigner of a credit-approved Granite Edvance Student Loan, EdvestinU Private Loan, or EdvestinU Refinance Loan, with an initial disbursement of the loan that occurred during an eligible prize quarter.
The following recent customers are NOT eligible to participate:
- Previous winners of the EdvestinU® Review Sweepstakes,
- Employees of Granite Edvance Corporation or its affiliates, and
- Family members and any persons living in the same household of an employee.
Prize and Approximate Retail Value (ARV): Each quarterly sweepstake that is held will conclude with the selection of one (1) winner for a total prize value of $250. Sweepstakes winners will be awarded a $250 Amazon1 gift card. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of total prize is $250. Gift card will be mailed to the winner based on address included on approved loan application and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Amazon gift card prize with a different gift card of equal value.
Eligible Prize Quarter: An eligible prize quarter is defined as one of the following
- Between 12:00 a.m 1/1/2024 and 11:59 p.m. EDT 3/31/2024
- Between 12:00 a.m 4/1/2024 and 11:59 p.m. EDT 6/30/2024
- Between 12:00 a.m 7/1/2024 and 11:59 p.m. EDT 9/30/2024
- Between 12:00 a.m 10/1/2024 and 11:59 p.m. EDT 12/31/2024
To Enter: Granite Edvance Student Loan, EdvestinU Private Loan and EdvestinU Refinance Loan borrowers and cosigners will be emailed a review request from RaveCapture Inc. within a month of the initial disbursement being made on the loan. The eligible individuals will have seven days to complete an entry by one of the following methods in order to be eligible:
- Review Method of Entry: To be entered into the sweepstakes via the review method, the person must complete the review request within the email and click “Submit”. Neither the content of the review, nor the review score, will increase or decrease the chances of winning.
- Alternate Method of Entry: To enter the Sweepstakes without providing a review, you may submit a mail-in entry. To enter via this method, handwrite your first and last name, street address, phone number and email address on a piece of paper, and mail your entry to: Granite Edvance, Attention: EdvestinU Review Sweepstakes, 3 Barrell Court, Concord, NH 03301.
Only review entries received by 11:59 p.m. EDT on the 7th calendar day following the receipt date of the review request email will be eligible for that quarter’s drawing. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the 7th calendar day following the receipt date of the review request email. Eligible entries will not be carried over into subsequent prize quarters. Limit one entry per person, per quarter regardless of the number of reviews written or alternate method entries received.
The sponsor is not responsible for, and will void, late, incomplete, lost, misdirected, or otherwise faulty entries, regardless of the cause. The sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify entries at its sole discretion if it is believed that the entry was received as the result of unfair, deceptive or harmful practices.
Winning: Winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries made by both review method of entry and alternate method of entry for that prize quarter, and the drawings will be conducted on or around two weeks after the start of the following quarter. One winner each quarter will be chosen from the pool of eligible entrants. Winners will not be eligible to win in subsequent quarters. Winners may not choose an alternate prize and the prize may not be transferred. Each winner will be responsible for any tax implications that come as a result of winning.
Odds of Winning: Each eligible entry has an equal chance of winning. Odds of winning depend directly on the number of eligible entries received.
Notification: Notification will be sent to each winner within 10 days after the drawing via the mailing address or email address provided at the time of entry. If the participant does not respond to the notification within 30 days or refuses receipt of the prize, the Sponsor reserves the right to retain ownership of the prize or to award that prize to a different entrant drawn at random from all remaining eligible entries. Reasonable follow–up attempts may be used to contact the winner as deemed necessary by the sponsor.
Privacy: By submitting an entry, all entrants acknowledge and agree that the personal information that they have provided will be maintained by the sponsor in accordance with the sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
Governing Law: The substantive laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States apply to and govern this Sweepstakes and any claims must be raised and resolved in the Federal or state courts located in Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
Limitation on Liability: By agreeing to the rules herein, the participant agrees to indemnify the sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents as well as its employees, directors and officers for any cost, loss or damage of any kind resulting from his or her participation in this sweepstakes.
Right to Modify, Suspend or Terminate: The sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this sweepstakes at any time, at its sole discretion.
